They are GPS-accurate, contain mountain bike tours as well as all mountain huts and refuges. If you are on holiday at the northern tip of Lake Como and also want to visit the Valtellina, you will need the map Chiavenna / Val Bregaglia in addition to the map Lago di Como / Lago di Lugano. The arm of the lake near Lecco and the area east of it are covered by the map Lecco / Valle Brembana.
The maps are accompanied by a small travel guide with descriptions of the villages and towns as well as the scenic attractions.

Very clearly structured, it convinces with numerous and up-to-date descriptions. If you have already spent several holidays on Lake Como, you will certainly not be bored next time with this book in your luggage.
Positive: The chapter “Small Hiking Guide” contains eight hikes from longer walks to the ascent of Monte Legnone, including map extracts.
Winding roads with surprising views of the lake and challenging mountain routes make Lake Como an ideal spot for motorcyclists. If only it wasn’t always the tour planning! The Motorcycle Guide to the Upper Italian Lakes promises help with roadbooks, maps and tips.
Positive: Some of the tours go beyond the immediate vicinity of the lakes, and the clearly laid-out roadbooks fit into any tank bag.
Was there anything else besides the lake? Oh yes, the mountains around Lake Como with peaks over 2000 metres high. Sounds exhausting, but it doesn’t have to be if you have the brand-new hiking guide with the most beautiful mountain and hiking tours in your rucksack. The book from the Zwischenräume publishing house is not primarily aimed at holidaymakers with alpine experience, but at those who want to discover hiking and nature in the hinterland of Lake Como. Just reading the book makes you want to go right away!

The mountain world around Lake Como is also ideal for conquering on a mountain bike. Chestnut forests, forest paths, challenging single trails and mountain villages hardly touched by tourism make every tour a pleasure for all the senses.
The Bike Guide with a good 30 tours including GPS data and description is a must for every mountain biker. Small restriction: beginners or less experienced bikers will reach their limits on one or the other crunchy trail or prefer to dismount beforehand and push a few metres.
