Above the picturesque village of San Siro-Rezzonico with its beautiful castle, good restaurants, lovely lakeside promenade and romantic little beaches, just a few kilometres from Menaggio and the most sought-after sights of Lake Como, is the Rustico holiday home Dolce Vita in the mountain village of San Martino, well-known to Lake Como connoisseurs. You reach your idyllic holiday resort via a serpentine mountain road.

Your holiday home is integrated into the village and surrounded by typical houses, partly cottages and meadows. There are five idyllic outdoor areas to choose from: a patio near the holiday home at a distance of about 15 m, the natural stone terrace with pergola at the entrance of the house, another natural stone terrace in the granny annexe that goes across the entire width of the house and two balconies with a fantastic lake view.

The high-quality and tastefully restored village holiday home offers space on three floors:
A paradise for those seeking peace and quiet and individualists in search of that very special holiday address.

High-quality materials, such as sandblasted larch wood, were used in the interior.

The main entrance to the living area with its modern BULTHAUP kitchen is via the south-facing, ingrown natural stone terrace.
To the lake side is a balcony with sun loungers.

Sleeping areas:
A wooden staircase leads to the attic with triple bedroom with bathroom with designer shower, with fireplace and wide balcony with inspiring lake and mountain views.
A gallery ladder leads to the open small sleeping gallery in the roof ridge with a cosy sleeping mattress (1.40 x 2.00).

On the ground floor is a twin bedroom with bathroom, reached via the external staircase with external entrance, with furnished natural stone terrace.

Both bathrooms with designer shower.

At the lake there are several small and mostly shallowly sloping beach sections along the lake promenade.
An approx. 1.5 km long footpath leads from San Martino to the lake.
An insider tip for all those who are looking for something special.
Also ideal for two couples travelling together due to the two separate sleeping areas, each with their own bathroom.
The Rustico is used again and again by the owners themselves and is constantly lovingly completed. The natural stone house is also an inviting domicile in winter due to its sunny location, the good insulation, the modern central heating by means of a heat pump and the romantic window fireplace in the living area.
Due to the natural stone paths to the house, we recommend sturdy shoes. Please supervise children more closely because of the wall projections and stairs inside and outside.
There is a public car park at the entrance to the village, approx. 80 m from your holiday home. You can reach your holiday home via the village square and then a natural stone alley with stairs.

Charging e-cars at the domicile is not possible. Nearest public e-car charging station approx. 8 km away.

    Wunderschönes, gemütliches und sehr gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in idyllischer Lage mit super Blick auf den See in dem man sich sofort wohl und "wie zu Hause" fühlt. Ein kleines Auto ist am besten fRead more..ür die Anfahrt auf den kurvenreichen und engen Straßen geeignet. Frischen Ziegenkäse direkt vom Hof gibt es direkt im Dorf, sehr lecker. Einzig ein Bäcker in der Nähe fehlt, um morgens frisches Brot zu holen. Mit dem Vermieter konnte man bei Fragen jederzeit ganz unkompliziert über WhatsApp kommunizieren. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte, wunderbar ruhig gelegene Urlaubslokation.

    Wir durften 2 Wochen lang die traumhaften Blicke aus dem Rustico genießen und hätten dies gerne noch länger getan. Es war Ende Juni noch Vorsaison und somit war auf den Plätzchen um das Haus eine ganzRead more.. private Atmosphäre. Die Abgeschiedenheit haben wir bewußt gewählt und nach dem Serpentinenweg ist es jedesmal toll gewesen, in der Höhe anzukommen. Die Blicke zu allen Tageszeiten und Wettersituationen sind einfach toll. Versorgt mit allem, was man braucht; Menaggio ist nicht weit und bietet alles, so gibt es eigentlich keinen Grund das „Nest“ San Martino zu verlassen. Zu Fuß kann man direkt von dort aus losziehen und auch für Radfahrer mit Bergambitionen war es ein guter Ort. Zum Abschalten und Auftanken war es für uns ein idealer Ort. Auch meine ältere Mutter hat den Aufenthalt sehr genossen; getrennter Schlafraum und Bad sind prima für Mehrgenerationen Reisen. Das Rustico ist außergewöhnlich liebevoll ausgestattet. Gerne wiederkommen!

    Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll, im Rustico-Stil, eingerichtet. Gäste sollten auf jeden Fall gut zu Fuss sein, da man nicht am Haus pRead more..arken kann. Es sind mindestens 150m Fußweg über Stufen. Im Ort selber war im Mai nichts los, das Restaurant im Ort hatte die ganze Woche geschlossen. Lediglich die Käserei;Schafskäse und Honig; hatte geöffnet. Zu Fuß in den Ort Acquaseria ist möglich, bei Regen abwärts aber sehr gefährlich, weil die Steine sehr rutschig sind. Mit dem Auto fährt man eine 6km lange Serpentinenstraße bis man am See, bei Rezzonico. Die Dame, die die Abläufe vor Ort koordiniert;Schlüsselübergabe, Kaution; ist sehr unkompliziert und nett. The balance is to be paid by bank transfer 3 weeks before the start of the trip. For bookings made at short notice from 21 days before the start of the trip, the total price is due immediately.
