The holiday flat is enthroned above the lake on the first floor, with a fabulous view of the lake. Lombard fishermen's and holiday homes, some renovated, others with a picturesque patina of long history, nestle colourfully against the hillside, with many stairways and picturesque alleyways.
The holiday studio flat Il Castellaccio is practically and modernly furnished.
The sleeping area is visually separated, there is a double sofa bed in the living area and a separate bedroom is available via the hallway on request.

Ideal for couples, small families where everyone wants to sleep together, or couples sleeping separately, or sports friends.

The holiday flat has parquet laminate floors.
The open beamed ceiling creates a cosy atmosphere.
The panoramic glass doors offer a wonderful lake and mountain panorama. 

You enter Casa Il Castellaccio through the common steep staircase. Your holiday flat is on the second floor/attic: The light-flooded living room with double sofa bed.
On the side, modern eat-in kitchen with a wonderful view of the lake and access to both balconies, facing south-east and south-west.

The double bed is separated by a large wardrobe on the side.
Modern bright bathroom.

Via the hallway there is another bedroom with double bed, which is modernly furnished (wooden floor).

There are beaches about 100-150 m away.
Italy lovers, culture enthusiasts and sportsmen will find an authentic holiday oasis here, close to the Golden Triangle of Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna. The magnificent botanical garden of Villa Carlotta is also just a stone's throw away, as are Isola Comacina and Villa del Balbianello.

The holiday flat is recommended all year round due to its location and good insulation/construction.
You park about 100 m above the house, on parking spaces where locals as well as holiday guests park. A stairway of natural stones leads down to the house. The old town centre is pleasantly car-free due to the rather narrow streets. There are many parking spaces at the entrance to the village.

    Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung! Der Fernseher funktionierte nicht, aber das war für uns kein Problem, wir waren ja nicht dort zum fernsehen.

The balance is to be paid by bank transfer 3 weeks before the start of the trip. For bookings made at short notice from 21 days before the start of the trip, the total price is due immediately.
