The selected colors of the furniture reflect the colors of the lake and the sky and give the impression of being on vacation in a fisherman's house.
You can admire the lake view from the open-plan living area or directly from the adjoining terrace, where the lights of the houses opposite are reflected in the Mera arm in the evening.
The Vista Lago vacation apartment has two separate bedrooms, which can be accessed from the living area and face the mountains.
The small shower room rounds off this cozy apartment.
Here you will find many small and large stores, plenty of cafés, restaurants and ice cream parlors.
There are various campsites on the lake that offer surfing lessons, kitesurfing and SUP boards for hire.
Most of the campsites have a bar or restaurant, which are also open to non-campsite guests, so you can have breakfast in the morning right by the lake.
Camping 90 and the Beach Hostel are popular, as their kitchens are open almost around the clock.
The beach is easy to reach and is a large meadow that also offers a little shade in summer thanks to the many trees. The pebble beach is shallow and the water is not very deep. Well suited for families with children.
It is a popular destination for hikers as it offers a fantastic view of the lake and the Valtellina valley.
You can hike or mountain bike down to Domaso via the so-called Vecchia Mulattiera (old donkey path). Approx. 2.5 km with a difference in altitude of almost 300 meters.
If you like cycling in the mountains, you should download one of the popular apps to see which tours are suitable for your personal needs.
There are various restaurants in the immediate vicinity of Caino, such as the Ristorante Pizzeria Bella Vista.
It has a terrace with a view of the lake and is located below the Vista Lago apartment, in the village of Vercana, just 1.6 km away.
If you enjoy visiting the weekly Italian markets, we can recommend the large market in Colico on Saturdays. Here you will find everything your heart desires, from plants to clothing and culinary specialties.
The smaller weekly market in Domaso takes place every first and third Tuesday of the month; it is open from 8 am to 5 pm.
For those who prefer to do sports on the water, we recommend one of the many kite and surf schools located directly on the beach at Domaso and Gera Lario.
For experienced kitesurfers, we can recommend the beach at Cremia. The best time to kite is around midday due to the winds.
If, on the other hand, you want to take it easy and sail on a rustic and traditional two-master, we recommend La Vela Rossa. The skippers Sabine and Klaus organize sailing trips for up to eight people. The length of the trip is between 2 and 6 hours. Anyone who wants to can lend a hand and hoist the sails.

The two-master is located at the northern end of Domaso, in the marina, Via Antica Regina 32, Pontile 2.
The Navigazione jetty is located at the entrance to Domaso. From here you can take the scheduled boat to Colico or towards Gravedona and Menaggio.
For hotels and some property providers, the remaining amount must be paid on site. This is stated in the booking confirmation.
The balance is to be paid by bank transfer 3 weeks before the start of the trip. For bookings made at short notice from 21 days before the start of the trip, the total price is due immediately.
