Gravedona is an idyllic fishing village with just over 4,000 inhabitants in the province of Como. With its bay-like lake shore and piazza with weekly market, Gravedona is considered one of the most beautiful places on Lake Como. The town centre, located below the shore road and directly on Lake Como, is partly steep and characterised by the idyllic alleys typical of Lake Como on the picturesque bay. The sparsely built-up and rather flat headland \u2018Poncia\u2019 offers beautiful beaches near the river mouth. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Dongo<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dongo is a small, unspoilt village with around 3,500 inhabitants and a bay with a fishing harbour. Dongo is located on the upper western shore of Lake Como and impresses with its magnificent mountain backdrop. <\/p>\n

The small piazza by the bay is a popular meeting place for locals. Evening events are often held there. The historic buildings in the town are particularly worth seeing, such as the town hall, Palazzo Manzi, with its golden hall (Sala d’Oro) from the Napoleonic era. There are also several restaurants, bakeries and shops in the town. <\/p>\n

The church of San Eufenia is located above Dongo and is a popular hiking destination with a fantastic panoramic view of Lake Como. The mountain villages of Stazzone and Germasino, with their rustic mountain trattorias, are easy to reach on foot. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The municipality of Musso, with a population of 1,000, is located south of Dongo on the northern western shore of Lake Como. The town has its historical origins in Roman times and was already known for its white marble back then. The characteristic winding and tiny alleys run through the centre of Musso. A beautiful lake promenade between Musso and Pianello Lario invites you to take a stroll. Quiet residential areas surrounded by greenery can be found on the slopes above.
